Uniform Information
School Uniform
The school colours are Royal Blue and Grey. Children should wear a royal blue jumper or cardigan and grey trousers, skirt or dress together with a white polo shirt. Blue summer dresses can be worn in the warmer months. All school uniform can be purchased from Uniform Direct. Please go to www.uniform-direct.com or the school office for further guidance on ordering.
Plain black shoes or trainers are considered to be acceptable footwear. We do not accept coloured/labelled trainers as these detract from the smart and consistent image that we are trying to project.
It is vital that all of your child's property is marked with his/her name, especially school uniform.
Indoor/Outdoor P.E. Kits
Please could we remind all pupils, parents and carers of the importance of wearing appropriate clothing for PE. Despite the changeable weather, when conditions allow, PE WILL take place outdoors; therefore it is essential that children bring appropriate footwear and clothing for both indoor and outdoor use( plimsolls for indoors, trainers for outdoors.) Could we also remind you that PE kits consist of plain, non branded black shorts/tracksuit bottoms/leggings and a plain white top. Plain black track-suit tops, jumpers or fleeces may also be worn. Branded sportswear, football kits etc. are NOT considered to be appropriate clothing.
Jewellery
Could we please take this opportunity to remind parents about the importance of health & safety when it comes to the wearing of jewellery. Whilst we appreciate that many children now have their ears pierced, or may wear jewellery for religious or cultural purposes, we kindly request that any jewellery worn clearly observes simple health and safety guidelines. Earrings should be studs only, and we discourage the wearing of any other jewellery, particularly during PE lessons where fingers, hair etc might easily be caught and children seriously hurt. We would not advocate the wearing of necklaces at other times during the day for the very same reason; when running around at playtimes etc. it would be very easy for items to get caught and your child hurt.
